The long-awaited opening of the 14th East Telecom branch in Zarafshan has taken place. This event marks an important step in the development of the city.

The grand opening was held on September 9 in Zarafshan, Navoi Region. It was preceded by the construction of a 240 km fiber-optic trunk line, which began in October 2023 and was completed in March 2024. Future plans include the construction of a fiber-optic trunk line to the city of Uchkuduk.

The opening ceremony was attended by the mayor (khokim) of Zarafshan, Nazirbek Rahmanov. Also in attendance were East Telecom's CEO, Mr. Kim Sungmin, Marketing Director, Mrs. Mina Park, Commercial Director, Guli Nazarova, and regional office heads: Shukhrat Klichev, Sherzod Rustamov, and Aziz Khalikov.
